Day 01: Delhi Arrival
You will be provided a traditional welcome by Heritage India representative at the International airport in Delhi and transferred to the hotel where we have done pre-arrangements for you. Relax and unwind at the hotel on your first day in Delhi. The rest of the day is for your leisurely activities.
Day 02: Delhi – Samode – Jaipur
After breakfast, you will be introduced with our selected guide for your sightseeing tour in Delhi. We understand that any tour is incomplete without giving the traveler the chance to explore the city himself, so you are at discretion to tell your personal guide about your priorities. Enjoy full day splendid guided sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi by Morning visit to Akshardaham temple The Akshardham Temple is one of the most recently built temples in Delhi. You will move out for the sight-seeing of Delhi. Move to visit OLD DELHI – A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India, enjoy rickshaw ride in ally of Chandni Chowk. Evening visit to NEW DELHI – An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Birla Temple, Parliament House, the President’s Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. After finishing sightseeing tour of Delhi , come back to hotel and check-out, proceed for further journey, Jaipur. On arrival in Samode, relax & unwind yourself.
Day 03: Jaipur – Nawalgarh
After breakfast, you will be introduced with our selected guide for your sightseeing tour in Delhi. We understand that any tour is incomplete without giving the traveler the chance to explore the city himself, so you are at discretion to tell your personal guide about your priorities. Your Rajputana tour itinerary will be rewarded today. Early morning you will explore Amber Fort which is located 12 kms outside Jaipur. The original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of Kachhawa rulers. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. The romance and spirit of the city can be felt when you walk past the roads of the pink city. You have less time today. So, visit the City palace and its museum, Hawa Mahal, the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar built by the Sawai Man Singh II. The monuments are built from pink sandstone, so Jaipur is called the pink city. From telephone booths to royal forts, you will see everywhere pink beauty. After the sightseeing explore the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. The textiles, leatherwear, paintings, pottery, carpets all lure your mind. Return back to the hotel. Have a shower. Later, depart for Nawalgarh, a town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. On arrival, check into hotel and rest for the night.
Day 04: Nawalgarh – Mandawa
In the morning, visit Havelis of local Rajasthan.
Anandi Lal Poddar Haveli – The only Haveli to be restored by its owner, this Haveli houses a school. Built somewhere in 1920´s, the Haveli is an excellent place to visit for the exquisite paintings displaying the richness of Rajasthani culture.
Nawalgarh Fort – The main building of this town, the disfigured fort is now a dwelling for two banks and a few other government organizations. Founded in the year 1737 AD, the fort is largely disfigured due to modern day developments.
Roop Niwas Palace – Offering a mesmerizing view of lavish gardens and fountains, this building has now been converted into a heritage hotel.
The Aath Haveli Complex – This complex houses eight different Havelis and is surely worth a look because of the intricately carved doorways and ancient paintings. These havelis are a perfect example of Rajasthani architecture.
The Bazar of Nawalgarh – The market area or the bazaar is extremely colorful and showcases the life of Shekhawati region.
Later come back to hotel where our representative will transfer your luggage into the car for your next destination Mandawa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Mandawa – Bikaner
After leisurely lunch, our guide will take you out for sightseeing of Mandawa. You will visit Mandawa Fort, located in the very heart of Mandawa & a classic example of the famed Rajput style of architecture and many other opulent havelis , Gulab Rai Haveli Places, Goenka Double Haveli, & Bansidhar Newatia Haveli. Later come back to hotel where our representative will transfer your luggage into the car for your next destination Bikaner. On arrival in Bikaner, check into hotel and take rest for the night.
Day 06: Bikaner
Next morning after breakfast, you will move for sightseeing of Bikaner.
We will visit the “Junagarh Fort”, built in the year 1593 AD by Raja Rai Singh (1571-1612 AD), the 6th ruler of Bikaner. The Fort is a formidable structure & largely remained unconquered during its eventful history. It houses number of beautiful Palaces, Temples & Pavilions, which are richly decorated. We will also visit the other marvelous structures, Anup Mahal.
Day 07: Bikaner – Jaisalmer
Next morning, straight drive to Jaisalmer founded in the year 1156 by Bhatti Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal. It’s often described as Golden City & rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage the commanding Fort etched in yellow sandstone, dominates the amber-hued city with its entire awesome splendor. Afternoon is free to relax or enjoy the city atmosphere.
Day 08: Jaisalmer
After breakfast, move out for full day sightseeing of Jaisalmer. The tour begins from “The Jaisalmer Fort”, built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, the fort crowns 80 meter high on the Trikuta hill. Also visit the “Havelis”, wealthy merchants built these exquisite havelis with profusely – carved stone facades. The Gadisar Lake and museum nearby , once the water supply of city, housing many small temples and shrines. Also see the beautiful Sonar Fort. Later in the afternoon drive to Sam Khuri Sand dunes 40 Kms from Jaisalmer. Take desert safari, camels ride on the sand dunes to view the sunset. The Rajasthani backdrop, the sunset and the camel ride make the entire outing an unforgettable experience. Back to hotel in the evening, the sight-seeing must have exhausted you, so you can take rest for the night. Night will be spent in the selected hotel.
Day 09: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Next morning after breakfast, Heritage India representative will transfer your luggage into the car which will take you to your next destination Jodhpur. Bustling desert city, Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan & has landscape dominated by the massive Mehrangarh Fort topping a sheer rocky ridge. Evening is free to explore the surroundings. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Jodhpur – Ghanerao
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and move out for full day sightseeing of Jodhpur Today we visit The Mehrangarh Fort. The Fort Museum houses an exquisite collection of palanquins, howdahs (Elephant saddles), royal cradles, miniatures paintings, musical instruments, costumes & furniture. We also visit Jaswant Thada, a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in the year 1899 AD in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Afternoon drive to Ghanerao., a village in Desuri tehsil of Pali district. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Ghanerao – Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur
In the morning take an excursion to Kumbhalgarh. Kumbhalgarh is famous the massive fort & the wildlife sanctuary. Afternoon drive to Ranakpur, On arrival, the hotel staff gives you a traditional welcome and escorts you to the room. Take rest for the night. Overnight at hotel
Day 12: Ranakpur – Udaipur
India. The most famous temples at Ranakpur are the Chaumukha, Neminath and Parashnath Temples. Return back to the hotel and check out. Once you have settled in the car you drive straight to Udaipur, it is the most congenial and romantic city situated in the lap of the thickly wooded Aravali Hills. You can have your lunch on the way. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Udaipur – Deogarh
Get freshen up. Start the Tour of Udaipur city with City Palace – which is a largest palace complex in Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple – A fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651. In the evening take a walk around the bazaars and streets to view the life style of the people. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-bari gardens, and the local Museums, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). Moti Magri literal meaning ‘Pearl Hill’ is a memorial of Maharana Pratap. Later in the evening enjoy boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit Fateh Sagar Lake.From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. You can also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – which is a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. Later, drive to Deogarh located on the boundaries of Mewar, Marwar and Merwara, about 80 miles north-east of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan. As it is at a height of about 2100 ft above sea level, it is cooler than other parts of Rajasthan.
Day 14: Deogarh – Jaipur – Kanota
Enjoy of your choice Trekking in the hills or Walk in the village or Local tribal warrior dance or Performance by folk musicians and artists. In the afternoon drive to Jaipur and proceed 15 kms further towards east, one of the Village in Bassi Mandal in Jaipur District in Rajasthan State . Rest of the day is free for your leisurely activities.
Day 15: Jaipur – Agra
Next morning after breakfast, Heritage India representative will transfer your luggage into the car which will take you to your next destination Agra, the home of majestic Taj. En-route you visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital city of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is a world heritage site. The architecture is worth viewing. Here you will visit the Bulund Darwaza (The Gate of Victory), which is said to be the tallest gateway in the world. In the northern part of the courtyard is the superb white marble tomb of the famous Sufi saint – Shekh Salim Chishti. On arrival, check into hotel & rest for a while. In the afternoon, go for a splendid tour of Agra city visiting Agra fort – The fort is a master piece of design and construction built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D., Itmad-Ud-Daulah – this fort was constructed by Noor Jahan in memory of his father Ghiyas-Ud-Din Beg in 16 Century. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Agra – Delhi
Visit the majestic Taj Mahal – One of the Seven Wonders of the World. The undefined beauty of this monument is one of the most attractive buildings not only in India but enlist itself in the same category in Whole World. Later day is free for personal activities and last minute shopping. At appropriate time, our representative will assist you in checking out of the hotel. Once you have settled in the car you drive straight to International Airport of Delhi. At Delhi airport you board your onward flight.
