Day 01: Delhi Arrival
You will be provided a traditional welcome by Heritage India representative at the International airport in Delhi and transferred to the hotel where we have done pre-arrangements for you. Relax and unwind at the hotel on your first day in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Shekhawati
After breakfast we leave for Mandawa in the Shekhawati Region. On the way we halt at Bagar for lunch and visit the Piramal Haveli, which has paintings of flying angels and Gods driving cars, on its walls. Arrive at Mandawa in the afternoon, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening we take a tour of the mansions or painted havelis of Mandawa. The residences of rich merchants, who have migrated from the region, these houses have beautiful fresco paintings on their walls. You can also see the traditional lifestyle of the local people. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 03: Bikaner
After breakfast we leave for Bikaner. On arrival in Bikaner, check into your hotel and relax. Later we take a tour of Bikaner, also known as the camel city. You can see camel carts, women wearing traditional clothing and men in colorful turbans on the streets of Bikaner. In the afternoon we tour the Junagarh Fort, a grand structure built in the 16th century with many defensive bastions. We also see the Jain temples at Bandeshwar and the Deshnoke Temple, where rats are considered holy and worshipped. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 04: Khimsar
After breakfast we leave for Khimsar and tour the grand Khimsar Fort, built in the 16th century. The fort has beautiful carved windows in stone. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 05: Osiyan – Kheechan – Jaisalmer
After breakfast we leave for Jaisalmer. On the way we visit Osiyan, an oasis in the desert, with many beautiful Hindu and Jain temples. We also stop at Kheechan, a village famous for the winter nesting grounds of thousands of cranes and other migratory birds. The local villagers feed the birds that come to Kheechan, ensuring that they return every year. You can see thousands of birds at Kheechan in winter, on tours with Rajasthan India Travel. On arrival at Jaisalmer, check into your hotel and refresh yourself. Then go for a drive to see the sunset over the sand dunes near Jaisalmer. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 06: Jaisalmer
After breakfast move out for full day sightseeing of Jaisalmer. The tour begins from “The Jaisalmer Fort”, built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, the fort crowns 80 meter high on the Trikuta hill.. Also visit the “Havelis”, wealthy merchants built these exquisite havelis with profusely – carved stone facades. The famous ones are the Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli. Other attractions include Gadi Sagar Tank and Museum, once the water supply of city, housing many small temples and shrines. A wide variety of water birds flock here in winter. Later in the afternoon drive to Sam 40 Kms. from Jaisalmer. Take a camel ride on the sand dunes to view the sunset. The Rajasthani backdrop, the sunset and the camel ride make the entire outing an unforgettable experience. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Arrive breakfast we leave for Jodhpur. Check into your hotel in Jodhpur and refresh yourself. Then we begin a tour of Jodhpur. See the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. Within the fort there are beautiful palaces, and a display of royal arms and artifacts. Visit the Jaswant Thada or royal cenotaphs in the Umaid Public Gardens and tour the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, which has a heritage museum. Relax at your hotel or go shopping in the evening. Stay overnight at your hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 08: Jodhpur – Rohetgarh
After breakfast we leave for Rohetgarh. See the beautiful Rohetgarh Fort and visit a Bishnoi village. The Bishnoi community, are known for protecting the environment and for their beautiful handicrafts. See the traditional lifestyle of rural Rajasthan. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 09: Rohetgarh – Mt Abu
After breakfast we leave for a tour of Mt Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan. Here we see the Nakhi Lake, the Dilwara Temples and the beautiful view of the Rajasthan landscape. Stay overnight at your hotel in Mt Abu.
Day 10: Mt Abu – Dungarpur
After breakfast we leave for a tour of Dungarpur. In Dungarpur we will see the Udai Bilas Palace, the Bijaigarh Fort and ancient temples. Stay overnight at your hotel in Dungarpur.
Day 11: Dungarpur – Rankpur – Udaipur
After breakfast we leave for Udaipur. On the way we visit the Ranakpur Temples, one of the largest groups of Jain Temples in India. The most famous temples at Ranakpur are the Chaumukha, Neminath and Parashnath Temples. Arrive in Udaipur and check into the hotel, where you stay overnight.
Day 12: Udaipur
Start the visit of Udaipur city with City Palace – which is a largest palace complex in Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple – A fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-bari gardens, and the local Museums, BhartiyaLok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). MotiMagri literal meaning ‘Pearl Hill’ is a memorial of MaharanaPratap. Later in the evening enjoy boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit Fateh Sagar Lake.From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. You can also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – which is a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. We understand that after such a long delightful day, you must be exhausted. Take rest.
Day 13: Chittorgarh
After breakfast we leave for a tour of Chittorgarh. Check into your hotel in Chittorgarh and then we see the Chittor Fort, the Palace of Rani Padmini, the Vijay Stambha, a victory pillar, and the Kirti Stambha, a Jain monument. Return to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 14: Bundi – Hadoti – Kota
After breakfast we leave for a tour of Hadoti, Bundi and Kota. Kota is located 36 km from Bundi. The palaces at Hadoti, located in a picturesque gorge are very beautiful with many carved balconies, arches and windows. In Bundi we see the Chitrashala, Rani ki Baoli and Sukh Mahal. In Kota we see the Raj Mahal Palace and the museum.
Day 15: Ranthambore
Leave for Ranthambore National park. Arrive in Ranthambore and check into your hotel. Explore the surroundings and visit the nearby town of Sawai Madhopur, where you can shop for paintings and handicrafts. Return to your hotel where you stay overnight.
Day 16: Ranthambore
Early morning we leave for the Ranthambore National Park where you can enjoy a thrilling jeep safari. The Ranthambore National Park is one of the best places to see tigers in India. The tigers of Ranthambore can be seen in the scrub jungle, near the lakes and resting in the shade of the monuments, in Ranthambore National Park. Apart from tigers you can also see deer, leopards, monkeys, squirrels, mongoose, wild boar, crocodiles and many species of birds, on your safari tour at Ranthambore National Park. Return to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 17: Ranthambore – Pushkar
After breakfast we proceed for the pilgrimage destination of Pushkar. Arrive in Pushkar in the afternoon and check into your hotel. In the evening we visit Pushkar Lake, and tour the temples in Pushkar. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 18: Pushkar – Jaipur
After breakfast tour Pushkar town and see the Pushkar Lake and the temples in Pushkar including the Brahma Temple, which is the only Brahma Temple in India. Hindus consider the Pushkar Lake a very holy spot and pilgrims come to bathe at this holy lake on auspicious days. Later we leave for Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur and check into your hotel.
Day 19: Jaipur
After breakfast we take a trip to Amer Fort, 11 Km from Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride to Amer Fort. Within the fort there are many palaces and royal buildings. Spend the day exploring the wonders of Amer Fort and shopping and sightseeing in Jaipur. Later enjoy a city tour of Jaipur. In the well-planned Pink City of Jaipur, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, you will see the beautiful facade of the Hawa Mahal palace, the City Palace, which also contains a museum, and the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. You can also enjoy shopping in the markets of Jaipur. Return to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 20: Samode – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
After breakfast we leave for Agra. On the way we stop at Samode, a heritage destination where you can see the Samode Palace and Samode Fort. Then we come to Fatehpur Sikri, a beautiful city built by Emperor Akbar but later abandoned. There are many grand monuments in Fatehpur Sikri, including a large mosque – the Jama Masjid, a beautiful palace – the Panch Mahal, and a grand gateway – the Buland Darwaza. Arrive in Agra, check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 21: Agra
Rise early and visit the Taj Mahal at 6:00 a.m. See the breathtaking sight of the Taj Mahal, along with the sunrise. The early morning light is perfect for taking photographs of this beautiful monument in white marble. The best example of Islamic architecture in India, the Taj Mahal built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal, is a symbol of everlasting love. Return to the hotel for refreshments. Then we leave for an Agra City tour. See the grand Agra Fort. The Mughal Emperor Akbar built this majestic fort, with later additions by the Emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan. Within the fort there are grand palaces, halls of private and public audience and formal gardens. Return to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 22: Agra – Delhi
Early morning, we will leave for Delhi. Upon arrival, you will check in and take rest for a while. You will move out for the sight-seeing of Delhi. Move to visit OLD DELHI – A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India, enjoy rickshaw ride in ally of ChandniChowk. Evening visit to NEW DELHI – An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun’s Tomb, the QutubMinar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Birla Temple, Parliament House, the President’s Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. After finishing sightseeing tour of Delhi return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 23: Delhi Departure
After breakfast day is free for personal activities and last minute shopping. Post breakfast, our representative will assist you in checking out of the hotel. Once you have settled in the car you drive straight to International Airport of Delhi. At Delhi airport you board your onward flight.
