Day 01: Delhi Arrival

You will be provided a traditional welcome by Heritage India representative at the International airport in Delhi and transferred to the hotel where we have done pre-arrangements for you. Relax and unwind at the hotel on your first day in Delhi. Move to visit OLD DELHI – A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Evening visit to NEW DELHI – An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Birla Temple, Parliament House, the President’s Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Return back to hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Agra

Next morning after breakfast, Heritage India representative will transfer your luggage into the car which will take you to your next destination Agra, the home of majestic Taj. On arrival at Agra check into the hotel and relax for some time. Your Xperience Travel Rajasthan itinerary will be rewarded today. Later go for a splendid tour of Agra city visiting Agra fort – The fort is a master piece of design and construction built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D., Itmad-Ud-Daulah – this fort was constructed by Noor Jahan in memory of his father Ghiyas-Ud-Din Beg in 16 Century. During the sunset time in evening visit the majestic Taj Mahal – One of the Seven Wonders of the World. The undefined beauty of this monument is one of the most attractive buildings not only in India but enlist itself in the same category in Whole World. After this mind blowing sightseeing tour of Agra city return back to the hotel for overnight stay at Agra. You can also go for a shopping spree in Agra as its markets have finest collections of various things.

Day 03: Agra – Jaipur

Early morning visit to Taj Mahal. After morning breakfast our representative will drive you to Jaipur, also known as “Pink City” which was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II Jaipur. En-route you visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital city of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is a world heritage site. The architecture is worth viewing. Here you will visit the Bulund Darwaza (The Gate of Victory), which is said to be the tallest gateway in the world. In the northern part of the courtyard is the superb white marble tomb of the famous Sufi saint – Shekh Salim Chishti. En-route halt at Abhaneri, small town village, situated at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur, Here you will experience the jeep ride & the look of step-well. Further continue drive to Bhangarh, a small haunted town, around 40 Kms from Jaipur. On our way to Jaipur we stop at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, a famous wildlife reserve in India where you can see thousands of birds nesting in the trees in the Bharatpur National Park. Upon arrival in Jaipur, the representative will assist your checking in at your pre booked hotel. You take rest at the hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur

After leisurely breakfast, our representative will take you out for full day sightseeing of Jaipur. Your Incentive tour itinerary will be rewarded today. Early morning you will explore Amber Fort which is located 12 kms outside Jaipur. The original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of Kachhawa rulers. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. The romance and spirit of the city can be felt when you walk past the roads of the pink city. You have less time today. So, visit the City palace and its museum, Hawa Mahal, the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar built by the Sawai Man Singh II. The monuments are built from pink sandstone, so Jaipur is called the pink city. From telephone booths to royal forts, you will see everywhere pink beauty. After the sightseeing explore the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. The textiles, leatherwear, paintings, pottery, carpets all lure your mind. Return back to the hotel. Have a shower. Then you will be taken to an ethnic restaurant for theme dinner. Enjoy folk dance and music programme. Night will be spent at the chosen hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur – Pushkar

After breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Pushkar. Later in the afternoon, you will move out for sightseeing. Today we will visit Brahma Temple, said to be the only dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. And also some near- by temples will be visited. Later drive to Ajmer, situated in the green oasis wrapped in the barren hills has been a witness to an interesting past. Here we visit the Adai-din-ka-Jhopra, Dargah of Salim Chisti and Digambar Jain temple, which has a double – storey hall adjacent to the main temple. We will return back to Pushkar. Night will be spent in the chosen hotel at Pushkar.

Day 06: Pushkar – Udaipur

Early morning, drive to Udaipur. This is Rajasthan’s most congenial and romantic city situated in the lap of the thickly wooded Aravali Hills. On arrival, the hotel staff gives you a traditional welcome and escorts you to the room. The car journey might have exhaust you, so you can take rest for a while. Later in the evening enjoy boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit Fateh Sagar Lake. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. You can also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – which is a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. We understand that after such a long delightful day, you must be exhausted. Take rest.

Day 07: Udaipur

Start the visit of Udaipur city with City Palace – which is a largest palace complex in Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple – A fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-bari gardens, and the local Museums, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). Moti Magri literal meaning ‘Pearl Hill’ is a memorial of Maharana Pratap. Later in the evening enjoy boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit Fateh Sagar Lake. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. You can also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – which is a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. We understand that after such a long delightful day, you must be exhausted. Take rest.

Day 08: Udaipur – Jodhpur

Morning after breakfast, Heritage India representative will transfer your luggage into the car which will take you to your next destination Jodhpur. Bustling desert city, Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan & has landscape dominated by the massive Mehrangarh Fort topping a sheer rocky ridge. On the way we tour the Ranakpur Temples, one of the largest groups of Jain Temples in India. The most famous temples at Ranakpur are the Chaumukha, Neminath and Parashnath Temples. On arrival, the hotel staff gives you a traditional welcome and escorts you to the room. In the evening experience the shrilling and nerve-spinning, the trekking on Mehrangarh fort. Back to the hotel and take rest.

Day 09: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

After a leisurely breakfast, check out and move out for full day sightseeing of Jodhpur Today we visit The Mehrangarh Fort. The Fort Museum houses an exquisite collection of palanquins, howdahs (Elephant saddles), royal cradles, miniatures paintings, musical instruments, costumes & furniture. We also visit Jaswant Thada, a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in the year 1899 AD in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. In the afternoon, straight drive to Jaisalmer, founded in the year 1156 by Bhatti Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal. Often described as Golden City & rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage the commanding Fort etched in yellow sandstone, dominates the amber-hued city with its entire awesome splendor. En-route we visit Osiyan, an oasis in the desert with many beautiful Hindu and Jain temples. Arrive at Jaisalmer, check into your hotel and refresh yourself. Then go for a drive to see the sunset over the sand dunes near Jaisalmer. Return to your hotel to stay.

Day 10: Jaisalmer

After breakfast, move out for full day sightseeing of Jaisalmer. The tour begins from “The Jaisalmer Fort”, built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, the fort crowns 80 meter high on the Trikuta hill. Also visit the “Havelis”, wealthy merchants built these exquisite havelis with profusely – carved stone facades. The Gadisar Lake and museum nearby , once the water supply of city, housing many small temples and shrines. Also see the beautiful Sonar Fort. Later in the afternoon drive to Sam Khuri Sand dunes 40 Kms from Jaisalmer. Take desert safari, camels ride on the sand dunes to view the sunset. The Rajasthani backdrop, the sunset and the camel ride make the entire outing an unforgettable experience. Back to hotel in the evening, the sight-seeing must have exhausted you, so you can take rest for the night. Night will be spent in the selected hotel.

Day 11: Jaisalmer – Bikaner

Next morning after breakfast, Heritage India representative will transfer your luggage into the car and you will move for sightseeing of Bikaner. On arrival in Bikaner, check into hotel and take rest for a while. In the afternoon, We will visit the “Junagarh Fort”, built in the year 1593 AD by Raja Rai Singh (1571-1612 AD), the 6th ruler of Bikaner. The Fort is a formidable structure & largely remained unconquered during its eventful history. It houses number of beautiful Palaces, Temples & Pavilions, which are richly decorated. We will also visit the other marvelous structures, Anup Mahal.

Day 12: Bikaner – Nawalgarh

Breakfast at hotel and depart for Nawalgarh, a town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. On arrival, check into hotel and rest for a while. In the afternoon visit Havelis of local Rajasthan.
Anandi Lal Poddar Haveli – The only Haveli to be restored by its owner, this Haveli houses a school. Built somewhere in 1920´s, the Haveli is an excellent place to visit for the exquisite paintings displaying the richness of Rajasthani culture.
Nawalgarh Fort – The main building of this town, the disfigured fort is now a dwelling for two banks and a few other government organizations. Founded in the year 1737 AD, the fort is largely disfigured due to modern day developments.
Roop Niwas Palace – Offering a mesmerizing view of lavish gardens and fountains, this building has now been converted into a heritage hotel.
The Aath Haveli Complex – This complex houses eight different Havelis and is surely worth a look because of the intricately carved doorways and ancient paintings. These havelis are a perfect example of Rajasthani architecture.
The Bazar of Nawalgarh – The market area or the bazaar is extremely colorful and showcases the life of Shekhawati region.

Day 13: Nawalgarh – Delhi

After breakfast day is free for personal activities and last minute shopping. Post breakfast, our representative will assist you in checking out of the hotel. Once you have settled in the car you drive straight to International Airport of Delhi. At Delhi airport you board your onward flight.
